奥田麗（おくだうらら）Ulala Okuda

1990年東京生まれ。画家。一男一女の母。

物心ついた頃から動物が大好きで、いつも落書き帳はそのスケッチでいっぱいでした。
庭で知らない幼虫を見つけては飼い、部屋中飼育ケースがずらりと並んでいたこともありました。
そんな小学校3年生のある日、母に連れられて日本画家の山口華楊の展覧会に行きました。
生まれて初めてプロの絵画というものを目の当たりにした時その世界観に大変驚き、
自分も将来はこういう絵が描きたいと画家になることを夢見るようになりました。

私の作品の題材はいつも我が家の小さい庭や散歩中に出会った動植物といったごく身近なものばかりです。
とにかくその一所懸命に生きてる姿が愛おしくて、その感激をなんとしてでも紙の上に表したいといてもたってもいられなくなります。

私の作品を通して自然の匂いや温もりを感じて頂けたらとても嬉しく存じます。

Ulala Okuda

Born 1990 in Tokyo
Painter

I have loved animals ever since I was child, and from an early age starting painting the insects and birds I found in my garden.
One day I had the chance to visit an exhibition of Yamaguchi Kayo (famous Japanese painter) with my mother.
It was the first time for me to see his paintings.
I was really impressed and I dreamed of becoming a painter like him!

The themes of my paintings are always small animals and plants which you can find everywhere.
I love them so much and I love to paint them. I draw from memory or my imagination, using traditional Japanese water colours.

I hope my paintings bring you joy and love.
